We are now accepting applications for the 2010-2011 Academic Year.

 

important Please have the following prepared before using the Faculty Application Form.

  1. Course Proposal:

    Faculty may submit an application to teach one or two courses at the Middelburg site. One faculty member per semester will serve as program director, and will spend the entire semester on site.

    These course proposals should include information about:

    1. the course title and a one paragraph course description describing course content and teaching methods. This will be used in publicizing and attracting students to your course and the program.

    2. the academic level of the course (upper division/junior-senior leve courses desired, and whether the course can be crosslisted as a first year graduate course)

    3. a syllabus of the course(s), including information on:

      1. an outline of courses' subject matter

      2. student assignments

      3. textbooks or other needed materials

      4. evaluation procedures

      Note:  this will need to be attached to the application form as a PDF.
    4. the type of student that would be attracted to the course, such as required academic background, major etc.

    5. a statement of interest on serving as the on-site program director (optional)

  2. Scheduling Considerations:

    See the academic calendar for specific dates.

  3. Curriculum Vitæ:

    Attach a current curriculum vitæ as a PDF document.

  4. Administrative Approval Form:

    Complete the MCTS Administrative Approval Form, gather the necessary signatures and attach it as a PDF document.
